Minnesota State Fair Week & Exciting Events
We recently had “Minnesota State Fair week” to celebrate the end of summer here at Arbor Lakes Senior Living! The week kicked off with a fair-themed scavenger hunt, 4-H exhibit, and cotton candy on Monday. On Tuesday we served some classic (and tasty) fair foods to-go: corn dogs, cheese curds, and lemonade. August was full of fun here at Arbor Lakes Senior Living! We had a 70th wedding anniversary celebration, an outdoor concert, and more. Check it out! Arbor Lakes Senior Living was happy to celebrate the 70th wedding anniversary of two of our tenants, Ruth and Earl Herring. We recently held our first “Match Game” event based off the popular television game show. Our Residence Director, Bjorn Horgen, did an excellent job as the host. Arbor Lakes Senior Living tenants were the contestants, and our staff and a family member played as the “celebrities.” Prizes were awarded to the winners, and there were some crazy answers and plenty of laughs – everyone had so much fun no matter what!
