Jean creates new recipes and prepares delicious dishes for our tenants at Arbor Lakes Senior Living. Jean spent her childhood on the farm and learned cooking, canning, butchering and raising livestock from her mother and grandmother. Jean attended the Commercial Foods program at Anoka Technical College and worked at Esteban’s Mexican Restaurant, Kozlak’s Royal Oak Restaurant and The Vineyard in Anoka before entering the Assisted Living industry as a chef at Ecumen Prairie Lodge.
Jean has been at Southview since 2015 and consistently brightens our tenants’ days with her culinary creations. As Head Chef at Arbor Lakes, Jean enjoys working with a wide variety of people and creating new recipes for our tenants–they especially love her desserts!Email Jean 763-575-7026
Regional Director of Dietary Services
Jon prepares delicious dishes that put smiles on the faces of our tenants at Southview Senior Communities. Driven by a lifelong passion for cooking, Jon studied Culinary Arts at Hennepin Technical College and Hospitality and Tourism at University of Wisconsin-Stout before joining Southview in November 2010.
Jon loves the fast pace of the kitchen and is always learning new culinary trends and techniques. He especially enjoys recreating the comfort foods our seniors grew up eating and cooking for their families. As Regional Director of Dietary Services, Jon strives to spark fond memories and make our tenants smile with the meals he serves our tenants.
A licensed RN is available to assess each individual in order to provide a personal care package that is right for you. If assistance is needed, our individualized service plans are designed to maintain your independence. We provide a wide range of customer driven programs and events that encourage participation, laughter and lasting memories
