Music, Games, and a Field Trip

September 25th, 2018

Recently, Arbor Lakes Senior Living had fun with some music, games, and a field trip!

Plymouth Rockers

Our very own resident, Shirley G, is in the Plymouth Rockers Choir. We are so proud of Shirley! The choir brought joy to so many residents with their excellent performance!

Blackjack Bonanza

Arbor Lakes Senior Living hosted a Blackjack and banana split bonanza. Everyone had so much fun rolling up their sleeves to play Blackjack and enjoying a scrumptious banana split. Bill W. won the large prize in the tournament! What a great combination for a good time with friends! A special thanks to the interim staff who volunteered at this event and helped make it successful.

Fruit Pizza

Our residents made delicious fruit pizzas. This is Mary showcasing her creation!

Winery Trip

Arbor Lakes Senior Living residents took a scenic drive to the winery at Sovereign Estate in Waconia.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

September 6th, 2018

On September 15, we join the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Target Field in Minneapolis. Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, killing more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer’s or some form of dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association and Walk to End Alzheimer’s mission is to bring awareness, reduce the risk, and eliminate Alzheimer’s through research and care. You can help us by donating: http://bit.ly/2Bl2y7U or participating in the walk. Details here: http://bit.ly/2vOJVEg
