Enjoying the Final Beauty of Summer in August

Enjoying the season while we still can! David and Beverly love sitting out on the front porch daily and soaking up the final beauty of summer.

Vern and Larry spend time daily in the Pub putting together challenging puzzles. Everyone is amazed at how fast they can finish a puzzle!

We recently had an Animal Ambassadors show here at Arbor Lakes! Everyone enjoyed the educational presentation showcasing some adorable exotic animals. It was so interesting to learn about each animal and where they can be found. And as an added bonus after the show, everyone was treated to a Pearson’s candy bar.

Arbor Lakes Senior Living hosted a “Shining Stars Talent Show!” We had a great variety of talented acts that brought a lot of smiles, giggles, and pride to the audience. From magic and music to comedy and dance, we couldn’t be more proud of our “Shining Stars” at Arbor Lakes. Thank you to everyone that participated in and helped support this AMAZING show!

2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Fundraiser BBQ

Arbor Lakes hosted the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s fundraiser with a Country Barbecue, Piano Stylings by David Geske, and raffle prizes. It was so nice to see everyone come together for a great cause that is dear to all of our hearts. We’d like to thank everyone for their donations, generosity, and all the help that made the fundraiser a success!

National Night Out and Other Summer Activities

We can’t believe it’s already halfway through August! We’ve been enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. Check out photos from our National Night Out and other summer activities!

We took a walk to Central Park in Maple Grove last week to enjoy summertime snacks and the joy of the children in the splash pad. It’s hard to say who had more fun – the kids in the water or the tenants relaxing and taking in the good times!

Andy Nelson joined the activities team this summer as an Activities Assistant. So far he’s been leading musical programs for our memory care tenants and played piano in the lobby for everyone. We are lucky to have him as part of our team here at Arbor Lakes!

The National Night Out celebration here at Arbor Lakes included ice cream treats, a visit from the Maple Grove Police and Fire Departments, and a great Barbershop Quartet performance by Note’orious! We are so proud to be a part of the great city of Maple Grove with its sense of community and everything it has to offer!
