There’s nothing like tapping your toes to some outdoor music! Jim Gerber recently put on some outdoor concerts at Arbor Lakes Senior Living, which allowed our residents to stay socially distanced and watch from our patio areas. Thank you for the wonderful performances, Jim!
This was a week filled with fun activities at Arbor Lakes Senior Living! We held an exhibit showing off the crafty and artistic talent in our building, as well as our first group activity (safely and socially distanced, of course) in months!
This week we held a “craft and hobby” exhibit here at Arbor Lakes Senior Living. We filled our dining room with handmade items from our residents and staff, creating an INCREDIBLE display of their talents! The exhibit featured quilts, paintings, stained glass creations, fishing equipment, books, and many other fun, beautiful pieces. We have so much talent in our community, so we made sure to take lots of photos to share. Check it out!
Tuesday was full of fun here at Arbor Lakes Senior Living! We kicked it off with hot, fresh-cooked breakfast delivered right to the residents’ front doors. Later, with extra safety measures put in place and carefully followed, we held our first organized group activity in several months with bingo! Although the game may have been a little different to maintain social distancing, everyone loved the opportunity to join together for some fun!
While we aren’t currently hosting group activities out of concern for the health and safety of our community, all of our residents recently had the opportunity to participate in a hallway sing-along. We stood in our doorways and sang our hearts out! ??❤️
For the health and safety of our clients and tenants, visitor restrictions are now in effect at all Southview Communities locations. We are actively screening all visitors at this time.
Due to heightened concerns regarding COVID-19, we request that any visitor – regardless of his or her current health – refrain from in-person visits until further notice. Signs posted at entryway doors notify visitors of this policy. Exceptions to this restriction include compassionate care circumstances, such as an end-of-life situation. In this instance, visitors will be limited to a specific room only.
The overall wellness of our residents is our top priority. We understand the incredible importance of connecting with family members, and we apologize that this visitor policy presents an unfortunate inconvenience. We are happy to assist you in maintaining contact with your loved one through phone calls, emails, video conferencing, social media, and other forms of non-contact communication.
Implementing visitor restrictions is a necessary step to maintain a safe environment in our community at this time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
