Mother’s Day and Other May Celebrations at Arbor Lakes Senior Living
Spring has been off to a fun and busy start here at Arbor Lakes Senior Living! Check out some photos from the Mother’s Day and other May celebrations we’ve had so far.
This past Sunday, we celebrated the never-ending love and bond of motherhood. Once again, we want to wish a happy (belated) Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers at Arbor Lakes Senior Living!
We had a magical and magnificent Mother’s Day celebration here at Arbor Lakes! We celebrated all Mothers with sweet treats, beverages, and a magical performance by Magician Markus Clegg. Markus wowed the crowd with his sleight-of-hand tableside magic and show tricks. We hope all mothers had a very happy Mother’s Day!
Memory Care Mother’s Day tea!
One of our Activities Staff, Vicki Higgins, hosted a beautiful Mother’s Day tea party for Arbor Lakes tenants. Vicki collects antiques and provided some of her beautiful serving pieces for the tea. She also shared some of the unique and interesting history of the collectibles with the tenants. It was a special tea party honoring our special moms here at Arbor Lakes.

Happy May birthdays! We celebrated the May birthdays with an astounding performance by Monroe Wright. He dazzled the crowd with his amazing voice, dance moves, and songs to sing along with.
We were “over the moon” with our puppy visits! Our Chef Manager, Jean, and her daughter, Liz, raise Labrador Retrievers. This week, we were lucky enough to meet their one-year-old Chocolate Lab, Cora, along with one of their seven-week-old puppies.
Throughout the spring and summer, Jean, Liz, and their dogs travel to dock diving competitions and confirmation shows on the weekends. Their dogs have won many first place ribbons and will be competing in the 2019 NADD/AKC National Championships in Orlando this December. We wish them the best of luck in all their competitions this year!
